We met on September 28th, 2021 at Dalmata Pizza on Rue Tiquetonne in Paris, after matching on the fateful dating app Hinge.
For both of us, it was love at first sight, and after some wine and pizza, the rest quickly became history.

Our second date had to wait—Ari came down with COVID that same week—but once he recovered, our next rendezvous turned into a two-day adventure through Paris: wandering the streets, visiting the Vivian Maier exhibition at the Musée du Luxembourg, eating well, and drinking good wine.
Of course, things weren’t without their early cultural hurdles—mainly Annika’s passion for booking restaurants two months in advance, and Ari’s absolute refusal to do so.

After three years together, we moved our home to Mexico City, where we now live with our dog Nelson and continue building our life together.

We are incredibly excited to welcome our friends and family: those joining us from abroad, who will get a glimpse of our life here and discover Mexico with us, and those joining us from Mexico, who have become an essential part of our everyday life and support system. For us, this wedding is as much a celebration of our love as it is of all of you—our friends and family—who have helped us get here, both individually and as a couple.
